Search for a Document

Use this tutorial to search for a specific document and/or to filter the list of documents displayed on the Documents page.

Complete the following steps to Search for a Document:

  1. Select the Documents menu.  The Documents page displays.

NOTE:  The list of documents displayed is automatically filtered to display documents that were uploaded on today's date.  The current filter criteria displays to the right of the Set Filter button.

  1. Click Set Filter.  The page refreshes and displays Set Filter functionality.

  2. Complete information in one or more of the following controls to search for a document and filter the list of results displayed:

  3. In File Name, enter the name of the file on which to search.  You can enter partial information to widen your search.

  4. In File Type, select the type of document on which to search.

  5. In As Of Date, enter a specific date to search for documents that were uploaded as of the date specified.

  1. Click Save Filter to perform a search based on the search criteria specified.  The page refreshes and results found to match the search criteria are displayed in the Documents table.
