As a rule, filters are used in complex course structures
where their functionality improves and simplifies the finding of
information.
The filter function is located above the course structure.
To this end, the author defines categories corresponding to different subject or group specific requirements and assigns them to the filters. These can be subjects or focus areas, for example. In the library you can now select the filter with the filter definition that meets your requirement.
Note: Bear in mind that the filter selection is only displayed if the author has set up filters. |
Selecting filters
The available filters are presented to you by means of a dropdown list box. You can now select a filter by clicking on it. The learning content matching the selection is then displayed in the course structure. This causes other content to be hidden.
Removing the filter selection
To remove the selected criteria and restore the original view of the course structure, you should select the topmost entry No filter in the filter selection.
